♠ Falcons and Home Field Advantage ♠

The Falcons are looking at home field advantage if the win one of their final two games.  The Falcons are coming off an opening when against the defending Superbowl champs, the Giants.  The Falcons shutout the Giants 34-0 in the Georgia Dome.  They are needing one more win to have home field advantage until the Superbowl.  The Falcons travel to play the Lions this Saturday.  The Falcons are looking to show all their critics that they can win a playoff game and possibly the Superbowl. The have to take it one step at a time and not get overwhelmed by their record.  They have a team capable of going all the way.  They have been good on defense especially with with one of the best cornerbacks in the league, Brent Grimes out for the season. They are looking for safety William Moore to come back this week after missing the last two games.  The Falcons offense has been finding a lot of success also this season. The Falcons are one of the only two teams in the NFL who are undefeated at home. The other team undefeated at home is the Seahawks.  The Falcons have come a long way, but will they clinch home field advantage and make a run for the Superbowl this season is yet to be answered.

♠ Rematch Of The Year ♠

The Falcons are going to play the Giants this Sunday.  This will be a rematch that will show if the Falcons are ready for the postseason.  The Falcons were beaten by the Giants in the first round of the playoffs last year.  The Falcons only scored 2 points off a safety in that game.  The Falcons are looking to show how much they have grown from their defeat last season.  They will have to do better than they played last week in Carolina.  The Falcons are looking to show how they can rebound from a tough loss, while the Giants are coming of a big win.  I am predicting to be the " Rematch Of The Year ".

♠ Falcons VS Panthers Rematch ♠

Sunday the Falcons travel to play the Panthers.  The Falcons came from behind to beat the Panthers  30-28 earlier this season. The Falcons have been playing very good so far.  They struggled against the Panthers in their first match up this season. The defense came up with a big play to put the hungry Panthers away.  The Falcons have already clinched their division, but are looking to earn home field advantage in the playoffs.  They will have to contain Cam Newton, who has reestablished himself as a mobile quarterback these last few weeks. The Falcons run defense has improved a lot this season, but there are still holes that need to be filled. The Falcons are going to be taken head on by the Panthers in this divisional game. In the NFL records are tossed aside every week. We will see a good game against these two teams Sunday.

♠ Falcons NFC South Champs ♠

The Falcons clinched the NFC South after the Buccaneer lost to the Broncos.  This is the 5th title in franchise history.  They are looking to win a playoff game after being defeated majorly the last 3 seasons.  The Falcons are aiming for the first Superbowl win in Franchise History.  They have a lot to work on, but they have showed improvement week after week. They defeated their hated rivals the Saints Thursday night in the Georgia Dome.  They also ended Drew Brees touchdown streak.  The Falcons still have not played their best football yet.  They travel to play the Panthers and Cam Newton this Sunday. They just need to win 2 of their last 4 games to have home field advantage in the playoffs.

♠ Fan Madness ♠

I feel the fans of Atlanta shouldn't of egged the Saints bus as they arrived.  That's not good sportsmanship at all in my eyes its childish and stupid.  The Saints actually helped the Falcons find flaws on offense and defense in their first match up.  I didn't like that the Falcons didn't when, but I'm not going to take it out on Saint players who won a hard fought game.  The match ups between the Falcons and Saints always go down to the wire.  You can't expect a team to be perfect when there are mistakes needing to be corrected. I am a Falcon Fan and my brother is a Saint Fan, but I don't get mad at him cause they won. Fans should show teams more respect than they did then.

♠ Falcons VS Saints Rematch ♠

The Falcons have been winning close games recently.  Their sole loss came from the Saints earlier this season.  They were without Sean Weatherspoon on defense, but the game still went down to the wire.  Weatherspoon is back how much of an impact will he make tonight on defense.  The Falcons still are looking to find their running game which has been absent this season.  The last match up between the two teams ended up being a game for the tight ends. This time should be different at home where the Falcons are unbeaten this season.  The Falcons will have to put pressure on Drew Brees and not make costly mistakes on offense. We will if the Falcons send the Saints home with a L tonight.

♠ Falcons VS Saints ♠

The Falcons are playing the Saints Sunday. This game will be better than most are thinking that it will be. The Saints have one of defenses in the league, but the Falcons have struggled with defenses like this the first half. The Saints offense is still one of the best thanks to Drew Brees.  The Falcons defense will have to be able to shut Brees down in this game to win.  The Falcons have to score at every opportunity. This is a NFC South Conference game. The Falcons are ahead in first of the division. Both teams are coming of a win. Everytime these teams play each other its always a good game. The Falcons will still be with out linebacker Sean Weatherspoon. We will see can the Falcons travel and beat the Saints at home come sunday.

♠ Falcons 8-0 After Beating Cowboys ♠

The Falcons are 8-0 following a victory over the Cowboys. The defense played very good without injured linebacker Sean Weatherspoon. They believe he will be back to practice sometime later this week.  The Cowboys defense were holding the Falcons to feild goals and punts. Tony Romo was making good plays on one of the best defenses. The Falcons weren't looking like an undefeated team during the first half.  They showed that they can come back and win after half time starting with a big play by runningback Michael Turner. Julio and Roddy both had over 100 yards recieveing. The running game didn't really get going until the third quarter. All in all, a win is a win, but the Falcons will have to be prepared for a battle next week against the Saints.

♠ Game Of The Week: Falcons VS Cowboys ♠

The Falcons and Cowboys are the game of the week. The Falcons are coming off a great win against the Eagles, while the Cowboys are coming off a close loss to the Giants. The Falcons look to have solve their problem against the run on defense. Drew Davis caught his first career touchdown. The Falcons continue to rolling this season. They shouldn't look past Tony Romo and the Cowboys.  The Cowboys are needing a win.  Matt Ryan is coming off a good game,but can he deal with the Cowboys defense. The Cowboys will have trouble with the Falcons run and pass defense. The Falcons still haven't played their best football yet. I believe they won't find themselves truly ready until the play the Giants. We will see how this game goes sunday. I believe the Falcons have what it takes to go win this and come January win a playoff game.

♠ Can The Falcons Leave With A Win Sunday? ♠

The Falcons have a tough rode game against the Eagles this Sunday.  They are going to have to put in a lot of work and effort to come out with a win.  Vick is not to be underestimated even with all his turnovers.  The Eagles defense is under a new defensive coordinator and he is good at his job.  The Falcons haven't played their best ball all season.  They haven't been able to convert on much need conversions, but still continue to win. There is no guarantee that the Falcons can make mistakes and it not cost them the game.  The Falcons defense has been playing horrible against the run. That needs to change come Sunday Vick and McCoy are very dangerous when the get that open room.  The corners are going to have to cover some good receivers the Eagles have. The Falcons offense will also have to protect Matt Ryan against the Eagles pass rush. They will also have to get their run game going to open up opportunities for big plays. I believe the Falcons have what it takes to come out with a W and improve to 7-0. The game will be a test that the Falcons have to past. We will see the results Sunday.

♠ Falcons Have A Challenge ♠

The Falcons are currently on a bye week after their franchise record 6-0 start.  They are resting and watching film to see what they need to correct. They travel to Lincoln Financial Field to face Michael Vick and the Eagles in week 8. The Eagles are also on a bye week this week. The Falcons should work on their run defense after giving up big running plays in the last 2 games.  The have to keep Vick contained and not running for first downs. They also have to not give up big yards on running plays. The also have to take into consideration of the Eagle's offensive weapons DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, and Brent Celek.  The Eagles have to find something on defense if they want to stop the Falcons "pick your poison" offense. Hopefully, the Falcons come off this bye week and win a game against one of the best teams they have played all season. We will see what the Falcons have going during practice Monday.

♠ Falcons Looking At 6-0 ♠

The Falcons are looking to stay undefeated against the Raiders. The Falcons shouldn't take the Raiders for granted. They have struggled against teams that they were expected to run over.  The Raiders are getting healthy at the receiver position. The Falcon's corners are going to have to stay sharp.  The Raider's struggling defense will have trouble with the Falcon's weapons on offense. The Falcons are looking at a bye week after Sunday. They have been off their last few games. They usually score on their opening drive, but have been going 3 and out instead. The Falcons have been working on their game and dismissing their record. Thats good they are still playing good ball and staying focus. They still have one question in everyone's mind. Can the Falcons win a playoff game? We will just wait to see after the regular season.

♠ Falcons Make It 5-0 ♠

The Falcons become 5-0 the first time and franchise history.  They had tough contest against a team that was expected not to put up a fight. The Falcons have their second straight comeback win. RGIII was given a mild concussion by Weatherspoon.  Cousins the back up came in and threw for 1 TD and 2 INTs.  Tony Gonzalez should reconsider retiring the way he played today. He had over a 100 yards receiving on the day.  Matt Ryan got into in groove after halftime. The Falcons went to defeat the Redskins 24 to 17. The Falcons play the Raiders next week.

♠ Falcons and Redskins Tied 7-7 at halftime ♠

This game has not been what people were expecting it to be at all. The Redskins defense has held the Falcons so far. Alford Morris has been running over the Falcons first half. They will have to contain him and Griffin who hasn't carried the ball yet. The Falcons D has done a good job to not let the Redskins score on offense. Lets see can the maintain the pressure after halftime. I expect the Falcons to come out of halftime ready to play. The Redskins recieve the ball after halftime. Lets see how the game plays out

♠ Will the Falcons Make it 5-0? ♠

The Falcons are in sync right now coming off a comeback win against the Panthers. The travel to FedExField to face the Redskins and the rookie QB RGIII. The Falcons defense will have to account for Griffin's speed and ability to run. He can also able to complete long passes if given the oppurtunity. The Falcons have defended the pass very good so far this season. I believe they will use some of their experience against Cam newton to stop the quarterbacks run for minimal gain. Matt Ryan shocked the league with an amazing comeback last week. He is moving the offense and putting up points. Roddy White had an amazing 59-yard catch last game. The Redskins have injuried CBs and the Falcons will have to take advantage of that. The run game will also be needed to help put pressure of the line. The Redskins are looking to stop the Falcons short of 5-0. The Falcons in my opinion have a good chance of winning. Lets see who wins?

♠ Falcons Make An Amazing Comeback Win ♠

The Falcons Improve to 4-0 after an amazing comeback drive from the 1 yard line. The drive started with a stunning 59 yard pass to Roddy White. Plays later it was capped off by a 40 yard field goal by Matt Bryant. The fumble by Cam and the delay of game lead to a punt that was recovered at the 1 yard line. The falcons got within field goal range and put it in their kickers hand with 10 second left in play. The Falcons won the game 30 - 28 late in the fourth quarter extending their streak to 5-0 against Carolina. Threre were mistakes in the game that the falcons will have to work on for the remath againt the Panthers December 9th. They travel to play the rookie RGIII next week. Today's game was a showing that the Falcons have what it takes to go to the playoffs and win a game. They win a game and next they are on the road to the superbowl.

♠ Falcons Looking To Make It 4-0 ♠

The Falcons are looking to increase their record to 4-0 against a 1-2 Panther offense lead by 2nd year Cam Newton. They will have to account for Cam's ability to run. They haven't played a quarterback with capabilites until today. The offense seems to be clicking on all cylinders.  Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have connected better after what seemed like a season of miscommunication.  Roddy White has been a great factor also. Tony Gonzalez is not left out as a gret factor should I remind you. We will just have to wait and see how the game turns out will they be able to put Cam away and score on their drive. That being said the falcons inactives are QB Davis, CB Owens, RB Smith, FB polite T Holmes, TE Palmer, and DE Massaquoi. I believe the Falcons will Falcons will win.

♠ Falcons Looking At A 3-0 Record ♠

The Falcons are currently in the lead facing the chargers.  They are showing they are one of the best teams of the league. There is still one question they have to ask "can they win a postseason game ?".  My personal answer is yes they are connecting on  whole different level this year. Falcons have to step up on defense with Brent Grimes hurt and chris owens concussion. Weatherspoon has been a good replacement to Lofton at linebacker. Lets see how the rest of the season goes.

♠ Falcons and The Draft ♠

The Falcons won't receive a first round pick because of the Julio Jones trade. This gives them time to think about what they need and who can feel it. I would like to see them get help for John Abraham on the pass rush and also a TE to replace Tony Gonzalez who is getting close to retirement. I believe Weatherspoon will take charge in Lofton's absence from the team. I also believe they should draft Nick Perry DE from the Trojans. He is a good athlete in my opinion and with some help he can play on the next level. Thats all I have to say on the topic for now.

♠ Preseason Schedule For the Falcons ♠

The Atlanta Falcons have released their preseason schedule and it looks to mix of easy and hard games.  They open the preseason with two home games. First they will host Ray Lewis and  Ed Reed leading the Ravens very good defense.  Their next home game they will host Dalton and A.J. Green leading a Bengals come from behind offense. Following that game is Miami Dolphins then the Jacksonville Jaguars.

♠ The Broncos Without Tim Tebow ♠

The Denver Broncos have made a big mistake of picking up Payton Manning and getting rid of Tim Tebow.  Payton is damaged goods and is not as good of a quarterback as he used to be. Tebow has done Denver justice the last two seasons and was thrown out as soon a Payton comes in. Denver will not play as good as everyone thinks in my opinion. I am a die hard Falcons fan, but i feel Tebow was done wrong.  You give away a quarterback who is steady improving for one who hasn't played all last season. Even though payton has done alot in his career he is not ready for a season in the nfl anymore. The Broncos will not be able to generate the pressure or hits he will take in the season. The Jets on the other hand will be good with Tebow. I don't think he will start over Sanchez, but he will recieve some playing time.

♠ Who will get Payton Manning ♠

So the quarterback for the Colts is leaving. The Colts will most likely pick up Andrew Luck. Payton Manning will have to choose a place where he feels best. If he chooses a team before the draft everyone's draft picks will change in my opinion. I personally he should play in Miami with Reggie Bush and Brandon Marshall. They also have Bess  in their arsenal. In my opinion he will be better there. He could also go to Arizona and play with Larry Fitzgerald.

♠ Passed My First Cerification Test ♠

I have been studying under my teacher Dr. Nelson for 2 years. I'm finally getting ready to be IC3 certified. Unfortunately, she has got another job away so I will have a different teacher. Hopefully, I will still learn what I need to learn. Dr. Nelson you will hear my name everywhere one day.

♠ Recruiting Students ♠

My IT class is recruiting students for the class. So far, we have had 3 people who actually want to be in the class. This being my second year of the class I will be discontinueing afterwards. We will be winning our SkillsUSA quizbowl competition next week.

♠ Superbowl Sunday ♠

This Sunday is Superbowl Sunday. My mom is off of work and we are going to be having a blast with our family. This is the Sunday that will have all families waiting on the draft. Make sure that if you are drinking that u don't drive because the police will be patrolling around. Personally, I'm not going for any team in the Superbowl, but I like the game so I will show sportsmanship and watch it.

♠ Patriots and Giants In The SuperBowl ♠

This superbowl will be held in the Colt's stadium this year. Unfortunately, the colts won't play in it. The Patriots will play against the Giants in the superbowl. This will be a good offense versus a good defense. Victor Cruz and Hakeen Nicks will be the people to watch from the Giants. Grownkowski, Woodhead, and Green-Ellis will be the people to watch from the Patriots. This will be the end of a great NFL season.

The Falcons have learned from their lost from the Giants and are correcting the mistakes. Next year we will be back with a vengence.

The Atlanta Falcons are playing the New York Giants for the right to play in the next round of the playoffs. The Giants are good both offensively and defensively, but the Falcons are better. If the Falcons Win this game it will be easy going into the playoffs.
